ENGINE
I have swaped a LS1 from a 1998 Firebird Formula and all the wiring and accesories that was with it.

I put a cold air intake that go all the way in the fender. Blue taylor wires, Mac performances 3 inch Cat back, but i find that it is not loud enough. I am thinking about instaling some Pacesetter long tube Headers, off-road Y pipe and catco converter.
DRIVETRAIN
I replaced the weak, almost busted 2 pieces drive shaft, when i was using the V6 with a 1 piece steel drive shaft. And from the firebird i used the aluminum drive shaft that is sitting behind the Manual 6 speeds transmission equiped with a SPEC stage 2 clutch kit. I have performed the drill mod on the master cylinger. but after the instalation, i founded that the rudd was not long enough. I modded it a bit and now have it fully adjustable! I replaced the worn out factory transmission rubber mount by a full poly mount. Plus, the factory LS1 trans cross member dont fit under the 1996 Camaro and not even the V6 one. So was able to get a LT1 6 speed cross member to make everything fit nice.
I replaced the stock open diff by a Auburn Gear posi unit. Pretty tough job for the first timer!!! The Firebird Diff was broken in the crash...i will try to repared it when i have some time.
FUEL
I got to replaced my fuel pump. So insted of paying 500$ at the dealer for the OEM pump i decided to buy a Walbro race fuel pump. This sucker can move 255 galon/hrs. Sure better than the regular and the price was way better too..120$ on Ebay!!!
Since the mechanic guy was asking me 5 to 6 hrs of work time at 65$/hrs!!! i deceided to do it myself and go by the access panel..you can see a good guide here for the fuel pump and other mods.

It was not that hard and it dint take me long to cut it.
The only modification, was to splice 2 wires and cut a rubber insulator a little bit to fit ok on the new fuel pump, that was the same size.
But when i swapped the LS1, the fuel system and hoses, was different so i swapped them from the Bird in the Camaro.
