My goal is to make it to the top rides and i need your help, plz vote, im not saying put a 5 star rating, just put what u think about my ride.thx
building cool Kustom cars that garner magazine covers and wow audiences at the Grand National Roadster Show in Oakland each year doesn't translate into creating hot SUVs for the street, or does it? Alex was anxious to find out, hence his acquisition of one stock '01 Ford Explorer Sport.
Colorado Customs' 20" Snowmass billets and Toyo tires fill wheel wells nicely.

Molded rear quarters necessitated cutting and molding the gas door too.

I accented the front fenders with my own billet inserts.

With only four months, or roughly 120 days if you prefer, to get the job done, Dore (with the assistance of his wife and creative muse, Susan) began by bagging it. Air Ride Technologies air bags were put in place of the stock springs by Auto Core of Phoenix, Arizona to bring the Explorer down to the ground. Colorado Customs' 20" Snowmass billets with Toyo rubber were then used to put the Sport on a roll, before Rick and Auto Core started tweaking the sheetmetal.

Billet accents add a European flair to this SUV.

In front, a ProGlass carbon fiber hood combined with a Trenz grille to redefine its appearance. Another billet accent through the center of the fog light openings gives the front fascia a different look altogether.
A Trenz grille and ProGlass carbon fiber hood define the front end.

Center console was also fabbed and color matched to the dash.

Air Ride switches activate a compressor to bring the Explorer back to ride height.

putting in the monitors were a pain in the azz but i made it through
Scaled down 5" Accele visor mounted monitor is way better than a makeup mirror.

The Panasonic head unit with monitor technically is a sixth screen in this suv

In the video department, no less than five monitors were used, two in the head rests, a flip down in the roof-mounted console, the head unit monitor, and the other in the sub enclosure that was mentioned previously. By the way, the rear mounted monitor is a 13" Accele unit, as are the 5" monitor in the visor and the three 7" monitors in the headrests and flip down.
With five screens lit, there's no waiting for mobile visual entertainment here.

An Arc Audio amp with a logo-etched plexi cover and neon backlighting gets noticed.

Rainbow went good with the bone-rattling subwoofer.

Inside the doors and tailgate, custom MDF (medium density fiberboard) and fiberglass enclosures were crafted to house 6.5" Arc Audio midranges. The stock gray seating fabric was canned in favor of custom two-toned gray Katzki n leather covering, an AutoMax carbon fiber dash kit, and a carbon fiber custom steering wheel. Gaylord's bedrug was used whenever the Explorer is outside the show arena to keep it looking the way it does when performing light hauling chores.
Custom enclosure is the work of Cardenal Car Stereo.

Outward facing 13" Accele monitor is just the ticket for tailgating parties.

Hope you enjoyed my hard work since 2001!!!!
which means this truck is done and not for sale
