1971 Dodge Demon, originally purchased in Jan 1991 at Clark AB, Philippines.  When I purchased it, it had a 318 with a thermobog.  Around 1993 I fell into a deal for a 340+6 and it now rests comfortably between the shock towers.  Other than a hogged out set of X-heads and a Direct Connection 284* .484/.484 cam, the motor is just a .030 over 1970 10.5:1 power plant.  As you may notice, the earlier pics of the car show it all blacked out.  In June 1991, Mt. Pinatubo decided to unleash her fury and buried everything for miles around in 12+ inches of ash and rocks.  Dave, the guy I bought the car from, held onto the car while my family and I evacuated back to the states.  Dave then had the car shipped by the military to my new residence in Maryland.  I've since retired from the USAF and settled down in Phoenix, AZ.  The current red paint job is 16-17 years old now and in dire need for a new one.  When money permits, she'll get her turn.  Her stable mates include my daughter's '67 Barracuda fastback and my son's '73 Roadrunner.  Yes, we have Mopar blood flowing through our veins....
