Swap is complete, and the car runs! I have driven it approx. 100 miles now, and it runs and drives AMAZING! It handles better than any car I've driven, and the engine pulls REALLY hard, so hard that traction is an issue even on the 3-4 shift :)

Cleaning up the wiring and getting everything finalized...

Short belt routing, no a/c or p/s on this beast!

The car sits lower than I was expecting with the ford motorsports 'B' lowering springs, the front is very low, the rear is close to stock height though, it has a cool raked look that I really like!

Getting the interior back together...the dash pod is a new addition, soon it will house a 5" tach, and a 2 5/8" fuel pressure and oil pressure guages. This picture really shows how nicely the center console, arm rest, kick panels, and the new black carpet looks!

Yes, my car is uh..noticably lower than that corvette huh? Here I am at the alignment shop, everything is in the green but I need to invest in some caster/camber plates because of my lowering springs to get the alignment perfect.

exactly 40 miles from where the work was completed, its home! All of the work was done in my brothers backyard/driveway/garage/mustang chop shop :) Without his help, the space, and the proper tools this project would have never had a chance.
For anyone else considering doing a 4 cylinder to 5.0 swap...think very hard about it, as you can see this took me 3 months and I am very happy with the outcome, but was it really worth it for me to save the few $$$'s? To me it was because I know everything is built right, but your milage may vary ;-)
