3-16-04 - "Almost there!"

installed the new springs and shocks today, as well as transfered over the bump stop and quad shock mounting plates. Rear end swap is officially 100% done.
Other progress today:
stripped the grey car completely, swapped the headlight/alternator wiring harness and routed that in front of the radiator support in order to hide the wires (looks 200x cleaner than hanging in the engine bay over the radiator, and was very easy). I also pulled the speedometer cable and transmission wiring harness out because they need to be installed in the white car to prepare for the 5-speed.

Swapped in the new headlight / alternator wiring harness, and in the process routed it in front of the a/c condensor and behind the headlight panel rather than in the front of the engine bay, I think it looks very clean this way and it didn't take me that long to do either :) The 4 exposed wires coming out near the middle are the leads for my electric fan that will be installed after I buy a new radiator (tomorrow? soon)

I also installed some new headlights and signal lenses. The outside corner markers are both cracked now, so just to be safe I am leaving them until the car is running, I think the drivers side one wasn't cracked when the car got here, lol. I have 2 extra sets of them, but would rather not break another one while moving something heavy by the car and bumping the lights...
