My New Explorer.
What see looks like now
Before pics:
Ok here's how I got the X. I was originally looking for Xploder axles for my BII at the local pick your part when I found this little gem. It's a 91 with about 230000 kM on it and a blown tranny. I only paid $800 CND for it and there are no broken panels on it. The only problems that it has so far is the tranny, two small rust holes by the rear doors, the motor needs a tune up and the interior needs a good cleaning. Whoever owned it before was a dog lover because the X has the "porno" red interior and they had a white dog. Needless to say it was a mess. After we striped out the interior and started cleaning it out. The GF really likes the new Xploder and wants me to fix it up for her to drive or sell. Looks like I'm going to have to keep looking for axles for my BII......oh well.
By Sat night I we had the interior striped and ready to be cleaned. I took every seat apart to be washed and the carpet was pulled to be presser washed. There is pretty much no trace of dog hair anymore and the interior needs to be reassembled ASAP.
All I have to say is that I'm very happy that I've found a rig that my GF is interested in and actually wants to help me out with.
Group Shot of my BII and the X. The back of the BII was used as a tool box that plays loud music;)
Well I toasted the tranny again so it's off being rebuilt AGIAN. In the mean time I picked up a fresher 4.0L to replace the ticking old one. Once I get the tranny back I'll turn my attention back to the BII and drive this.

Man... really great BR2!!!! I was hoping you could give me some advice on how you mounted the Explorer seats. I bought some seats but the mounts are entirely different and I'm having problems figuring out how to do it. I think the seats were out of a later model Explorer with 3rd row seating. Are they too new? Did the mounts in the seats out of the 91 explorer you used match up? Thanks a bunch!

Hey, I love the Bronco and i was wondering how you bolted the piece of stainless steel onto the back of it? I can't see where you put the bolts. And how hard was it to put the moon roof in? Thanks Joe
