Rainman's 2006 BMW 116i Quartz Blue

This baby has a whopping 115 bhp!!! :) 115 only and yet I don't feel inadequate about it :) I've floored the gas pedal to to unleash the torque needed, and have driven it at speeds of 150kph. I know others have pushed it beyond 200kph, but that would definitely be illegal here ;)

Only thing I've changed so far are the stock 16" runflats with hubcaps. Replaced it with BMW style 68 M-sport mags staggered sizes. Gives the 1er a more aggressive stance, and with the Contisport 225/45/17 tires in front and the wider 245/40/17 tires in the rear, has better ride and road grip now.

When the warranty expires I will begin tuning with a K&N 57i air intake designed specifically for the 116i, then possibly a sportier exhaust, and maybe even chip it.

We all come to an end of an era, and I have realized it is not practical for me to retain this 116i baby. So she's SOLD as of January 2008! Now have to focus on maintaining my two other classic E36 bimmers, the 96 320i sedan, and the 92 320is coupe!
