Fishncwboy's 1999 Ford Crown Victoria

This is my recently aquired 1999 P-71

Now you ask why would one own one of these?? Well if you like a performance sedan with seat of your pants feeling and the respect of 80% of the idiots on the road isnt enough the standard Features with the Inteceptor Model: 4.6 OHC PI Engine, Front rear sway bars. 4 wheel disc brakes. Engine cooler and transmission cooler. Upgraded CPU for transmission and engine controls ,130 amp alternator and Vinyl floors.I put a set of Falken 512 P225/60R-16 98V Tires on it.

The Car is powerful, handles great and in stock configuration is awesome.

I highly recomend becoming friends with the Ford dealer if you able to get vin #s before purchasing an auction crown vic and they can look up anything they did to it at the dealer. This one had an intake manifold gasget and a head gasget done. Carfax didnt help me much with this purchase. If you can talk to the county or city motor pool before the auction they will tell you whats wrong and why they 86'd the car. Durring the preview see if they will let you start up the car and run it. Put it in gear and give it some good pedal.Let off and see if you hear any noise. I checked the 5 at this auction and this was the only one that had no noise from the motor. The only thing I found on this car so far is a bad driver side ball joint. The reason they 86'd this car - they needed the equipment out of it for there new Crown vics they just purchased for the county.

The interior Is in great shape.

No damage to seats and vinyl has no tears on floor. 2 antenna bosses on roof and one plug. There was 5 at the auction and this was cherry. This is my recently aquired 1999 P-71

Sweet ride man!, I may be getting one of these pretty soon, I never thought I'd be getting a newer CVPI BUT one came up and I cant refuse...I'm more of the older Box Victoria style sorta guy ...Oh There is an online forum I'm involved with its GMN, Grandmarq.net Its a really cool relaxed place if you like Ford panthers...Or any ford for that matter, Which I see you do:) There is 3 members from Oregon that I know of including Me So... If you come visit GMN Capridrifter sent you.
