Hello! here is my lada. it is not lada niva, it is a classic lada, rear wheel drive. there is no subgroup for classic ladas on the domain, so here is my car in lada niva subgroup.
lada 2106 was a prototype for lada niva design, they look like close relatives. also, lada 2106 and first nivas had the same engine 1.6l and gearbox. some interior and exterior parts were the same as well

you just saw the pictures of my old 1982 lada 21033. originally,
in 1982 it used to look like this

and had a lada 21011 engine of 1300cc, that's why it is 21033.
i think, originally it looked cool but when i bought it some years ago, it already was a usual 21063 and looked like now but with red rear lights and yellow turnsignals. a previous owner rebuilt it to 2106 after a crash into rearend perhaps (2106 and 2103 have different rearends, front wings, radiator grills, bumpers and moldings)
later i bought a new engine, now i've got a 2103 engine of 1500cc which is more powerful and works better. so now my car's index should be 21061 (lada 2106 1.5l) but in the docments it is still a 21033))
I also added the new rims which i painted white later.
people often ask me about the milage of my car but noone really knows it;)

a year ago I bought a Lada 110 and this car now belongs to my father but I often drive it myself

-a new engine of 1500cc
-a Lada Niva 4x4 carbureator (solex)
-front seats from Audi 80

-clear rear lights and turnsignals
