Engine
Decided to rebuild the engine due to loose timing belt, luckily it did not mess up the valves.headers are stainless steel, not chrome. The engine is painted chrysler red, though it apears orange or pink in the photos.
Installed new HKS HVC electronic boost controller.
Added stainless intake pipe because the stock one kept blowing off. You can also see the 3sx fuel filter and adjustable fuel pressure regulator and fuel loop. What you can't see is the larger fuel pump in the tank.
DSM sidemounts installed
Downpipe with cat and test pipe all welded up and ready to go back in.
turbos during and after rebuild.
What it looks like now
condition when i got it(note the boost guage tube running on top of engine. I am fixing that first.
Before I bought it, the head gaskets were replaced and heads resurfaced from an overheat condition.

Nice job on the body work and the motor build. Nice job on the motor nice attention to detail love that wrinkle red paint especially on the exhaust side of the turbo. Looks like you have been putting a lot of hours into the car lately and car is really looking good. I bet you can't wait to get it on the road again. How long has is been down for the motor build?
