My Sweet 83' Z28

Here's my new baby, got her about 2-3 months ago for about $1500. Yeah it was an alright deal, im pretty pleased with what i got, the body is in great shape, the paint is a few years old and was done fairly badly, just a garage paint job, but it looks great from a distance. Included all the body kit, rims/tires which are seriously brand new with about 200miles on them. Before i even took it home I drove it directly to the exhaust shop because the kit that was on it was horrendous, so i threw on some nice stainless duals which im very satified with. Includes 21/2 inch SS pipe, flowmaster 80s, headman y-pipe, 5in chrome tips (yeah buddy!). Total ended up just under $400 installed which i feel is a great price. Threw a inspection sticker on her and she was off to the races! When i got it i took it to a tranny shop sence i knew the tranny wasnt in tip top shape. He said i still had some time with it, but a month ago 3rd gear slipped completely, so the tranny was just finsihed last week from the rebuild. But all in all the tranny is alot more heavy duty now, also with a shift kit and new torque converter, man she's running now. My next plans to do over the winter is to replace the head gaskets, install some 4th gen seats hopefully leather, get the stereo up to par which is almost complete, and also replace the weather stripping along the windows and t-tops. After that I plan on just going completely over the car, making it ready for the spring. Next winter I am thinking of droping a larger motor in the car, so we'll see how things float.

Here's the specs/mods:

- Origional 305, 5.0L
- Holley 600cfm carb, 5in moroso air cleaner
- 700r4 Tranny, heavy duty rebuild (Dec. 06) w/ shift kit and corvette torque coverter
- Headman short headers
- 2 1/2in SS duals, w/ Flowmaster 80 mufflers
- Holley electric fuel pump
- 4in Cowl fiberglass hood
- 17x9 American Racing rims
- B&M Megashifter
- T-tops
- TDS Subframe connectors
- TDS Wonderbar

Edit 6/12/07: Howdy everyone, Summer is here and for the most part the car is running great, but i, having electrical problems with the headlights and battery, but i will have that worked out sometime here shortly. Stereo is all set up which it has been for months. This summer i plan on just keeping the car running smooth, keep making small improvements here and there. I'm gonna go parts shopping this weekend at parts-o-rama in Butler Pa, we'll see what i come back with. I'll put some updated pics up as soon as i can.
