Custom Overhead Console Install
I constructed an overhead console pretty much from scrap. I built it out of fiberboard for the main panel. the cover was made out of poster board and covered in a black t-shirt. I made a special overlay for the switch panel on the front with a custom firebird emblem that lights up, a ram air light that lights up when my magnetic speed sensor is activted and manual fan swithces.
Here's version 2 which is now installed. It's much more compact than version 1. It has 4 toggle switches, 4 LED's, the emblem lights up when I turn on my headlights or switch the toggle switch from auto to manual. The "Ram Air Induction" lights up manually or via a speed sensor I built. The 3rd switch is for future expansion, and the 4th switch will be to light up my Ram Air intakes very soon.
This is version 1. It fit perfectly to the headliner but was a bit to large for my taste. It blocked my rear view mirror a bit.
