Z34Phoenix's 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix

Story behind the car:
Sept/Oct 2006 i noticed this nice looking 2 door GTP a few blocks from the house. It was nice and was just parked there. after a few months it still had not moved. I thought, it would be great for me to be able to afford this car, but being a GTP i knew it would cost about $3k if not more. the car had no "for sale" signs on it nothing. So dec comes and im fliping thru the local paper checking prices of vetts. -two months prior i desided i would start putting money away to save up for a V8 car.- well looking thru that paper i saw an ad for a 98 GTP for $1k saying it had mods, and needed engine work. with my time on the boards, i have learnd a bunch about these engines and felt i could do the work. so i took a chance and here is the car! its name "Lucky!" cause...what are the chances of me finding a random GTP in the paper and it being the one i was watching for all those months! and the chances of me affording it too! I'll just have to wait and see how much more lucky I will be in getting it runing.
Car was said to need engine work and is basicly in non-runing condition.

It is a 1998 Pontiac GrandPrix GTP originally red it had been repainted black. Interior trim is not in the best of shape. Also has clear side markers.

The car's mods were as follows:
-9" K&N HAI (will be FWI shortly)
-MAF/TB screen missing
-Ported M90 supercharger (blower getting my Dremal touches)
-3.25" Pulley - American Supercharger Modular Pulley System (pulley is way too small for the mods on this car...possible the reason for its current status)
-MSD coils
-MSD wires. (broken!) swapped out for AC Delco's
-Bosch plugs two werent even tight!
-PCM said to be aftermarket brand unknown/not confermed.
-Magnaflow mufflers in rear. facotry exhaust including Y-pipe

Smoke coming out of valve cover! after starting the car. it had been sitting for 3 months! deff needs new fluids and fresh gas if your wondering why the SC is disconnected, the belt looked a little loose and with such a small pulley i didnt want any probs.

Current shot of engine. painted PCM visible in lower right, plugs and wires in

went to work on car and discovered a Blackwidow nest in the radiator fan! after a few pictures it was aparent that the cars name and theme should be the Blackwidow. the car was originally red and painted black where there are scratches the red shows thru.

Thanks for stopping and looking at my Aero. I had a 99 Bucik with the 3.8 SC. It was a fun car. Enjoy
