"RRUMBLE"
1994 Cadillac Seville STS
I purchased this car in 1998 and drove it every day (during the Canadian winter too!) until the fall of 2004. At that time I purchased a 2002 Celica GT. Rather than trade or sell the Caddy I chose to "personalize" it.

First came tinted glass and a sunroof followed by a pair of Ravin' mufflers from Midas tipped with Ractive black chrome exhaust tips. Next came tires and wheels. I purchased Motegi RT5 flat black five-spokes shod with BF Goodrich Traction T/As, 225 - 55 X 16. In hindsight I wish I had chosen a larger (18") wheel but I was afraid of adversely affecting the car's ride and of frequently replacing worn tires. The fenders were accented with stainless steel wheel well trim. Lastly came the high-gloss black paint. The only ID left on the car was the Cadillac logo which is integral to the trunk lock. At this time I added a wing spoiler and a pair of hood scoops (nonfunctional). The finished product was long and black and very sinister looking. I commented to a friend that if Darth Vader drove a car this would be it!

The car looked great and sounded mean so now it was time for the engine to get some attention. I had it detailed in red and and a bit of chrome. To go faster I had a K&N cold air induction system installed, an MSD ignition and an MSD high output coil pack. Not only does the car go like stink, it gets better fuel economy than before the modifications.

What's next for Rrumble? I have on order Eibach lowering springs and polyurethane bushings. I'm also buying a Superchip and Accel sparkplug wires. Rrumble has 255000 km or 158000 miles on the odometer and is driven about five months of the year (no more winters!).
I don't want to give you the impression that I did all these modifications myself. In fact, I just dreamed up the ideas and wrote the cheques. The real talent was with Darren & team at South Shore Speed & Sound, Valley Tire, Speedy Auto Glass, Midas Muffler, Chester Service Centre and Allan Hooper of Chelsea who did the outstanding paint job. Thanks to all!

Oh! Why is my car called RRUMBLE? Because "RUMBLE" on a license plate was already taken! But I hope one day to have RUMBLE on my license plate.
Thank you for your interest in my car. It's a great ride and elicits lots of positive comments and approving smiles everywhere I go. I love it!
