My husband gave me my Christmas present early this year! A 1941 Plymouth Deluxe with ALL original parts still intact and most in amazingly good condition! We were told that it had been sitting in a garage for the last 40 years and we found the last inspection sticker which was dated 1966! My husband is the mechanic and car history buff and I'm the artist/designer and cultural/social history enthusiast. We plan to restore the car to it's original condition with very little changes overall...I AM going to change that boring blue to an elegant two-tone color scheme with coordinating interior and add an integrated air conditioning system and hidden radio/CD player with speakers. Some interesting things about the car...the original owner's manual was still in the glove box (what a find!)...although the upholstery on the door panels and the headliner have been chewed up by squirrels and mice, the upholstery on the seats is still perfect (although musty and dirty)...the back seats have armrests...this is a two door model but the back windows on both sides roll down just like door windows. Believe it or not, my husband got the motor to turn over!!!
