Now that the Cobalt is totalled, a new car is in the making. I picked this up for $1500. And before you say what was I thinking!? This car gets better. The engine has 17k on it, the body has 100k. No exhaust(has cat and resonator though), no driver side window. The truck is the 4.9L Inline 6, the 300 as others call it. The interior is in pretty good condition. Came with an Alpine cd player in it. It is a 4spd with Overdrive.
As of 12/7/06-
- New rear brakelines have been installed.
- A/C Compressor has been removed and replaced with an A/C Bypass pulley, the remains of the A/C will be removed at a later date when it becomes warmer. Very cold outside now, it's the winter.
- New tensioner pulley has been installed.
- New drivers window installed.
The beginning of the future plans:
- System: 2 10's, new cd player, all new speakers
- Tail lights and headlights maybe
- Lowered, slammed quite possiblly
- CAI
- some sorta exhaust, not sure yet
- new hood
- redoing the interior, new colors, seats, carpet

As of 12/14/2006
- Installed a new window motor. Works like wonders, even though it's cold, but theres been some decent days, which is weird, lol.
- Started on the car alarm.
- Started disassembling the interior.
As of 1/28/2007
- New front brakes. Pads, rotors, and bearings.
- Still waiting for it to warm up to start spraying the interior.
As of 3/2/2007
- Finally started the repainting of the interior. (Even though it's still kind of cold out.)
- Developing the plan for the first box that will be in the truck.
- Developing the plan for the second, and the final phase of the truck's interior. (Plans for both will be posted soon, along with new pics)
- Interior neons are being installed while doing phase one of the interior. No exterior neons will be used.

As of 5/14/07
-I got all my interior speakers in. Sony X-plod 6-1/2s and 6x9s. SOuds pretty good, but will sound better with the new deck once installed.
-I'm starting to buckle down a bit more now. My plans are to have the whole interior painted and the carpet cleaned by mid-June. I get a house to myself, and a lot of time to work on the truck in June, so she should be looking good by then. Also the box for the truck is almost finished. I won't have the box and ubs put in until I paint the dash. I have to remoe the dash to install teh new deck and run the wires to the amp, and also install the car alarm. So inconclusion here's the list of things to be finished by mid-June.
