This stang here has been in my club for years.
was a daily driver, strip car, and is still my favorite.
Currently with a clevor motor it's due for a full restoration.
I will still retain all the modified parts that I have added over the years like, 5 speed tremec, 9in. rear end with 391 gears, upgrade dual exhaust system, serpetine belt, one wire chevy alt (yeah I cheated with a chevy part), and many other mods that I found here and there in the 10 years of junkyard shopping.
The whole idea was to build a car to drive not just look at...So best believe she functioned at the track on the highway and has even won 3 second place car show tropheys.

She has already been thru a basic work over once already, but I am the type that believes picture are made to look at but cars are made to be driven...so thats what I do.
Now shes about due for another make over. this time a full make over

jxb302's 1978 Ford Mustang II This is a clevor 302 currently in the car with custom headers made in my garage.
also you may notice a lot of other fabricated shuff that I thru under the hood to get a serpetine system to work because I got tired of throwing belts every time I got ready to launch this car harder than 4000rpm thru the 9in rear end .

jxb302's 1978 Ford Mustang IIthere is nothing fancy about the car other than everything on it are things all of us can find without spending tons of money if your willing to fix your own shuff.
Personally I like the wing off my 72 mach better on this car .
What do you think? :) The best feature yet was the 180mph jxb302's 1978 Ford Mustang IIspeedometer that I found for this car that truly makes it unique, and trust me I try hard to drop the needle.
Right now the car cant handle but about 140 and even thats scary because of handling issues at the moment.
I will be fixing that as well and adding a cage just in case....lol

Alrighty now...day one, time to remove and refresh'n the motor a bit.
jxb302's 1978 Ford Mustang IINotice the fact this is not and I repeat IS NOT a 302

And think all that damn motor crammed in this lil ace spot. Time to get this bed made up huh?

I am going to also add that this will be a very low budget job.
The plans are to have a nice look'n haul'n asz mustang that I will drive to hell and back.
No fancy billet parts , unless I can get them for a steal :)
This is the time I ask any readers of this to send billet parts ....lol
