Hey guys, my name is Darwin and this is my original 1988 944 Turbo "S". I bought the car from a man in Tampa, FL in December of 2004. As of July, 2009 the car has ~179,000 miles.
The interior was converted from the original burgandy plaid cloth to full burgandy leather by the original owner.
Well quite a bit has changed since I last updated this thing 2 years ago! Modifications have definately increased. Some of the new bits are a SciVision MAF, 55lb injectors, MaxHP chips, SFR test pipe, cat delete and cat-back system with Borla XR-1 muffler, Tial 38mm wastegate, and a few other small things. I estimate my current power to be around 320-330. I've also pulled a lot of things apart and cleaned, and cleaned and cleaned again! Replaced belts, seals, pumps, oil lines, gaskets...but finally she's running clean! Just in time to remove the engine and install a new one...I'll describe that one later!
As for the exterior, I've added a factory rear euro bumper, and 17 inch OEM Porsche 993 Cup 2 wheels.
