DaPower's 1996 Cadillac Seville

Im trying to build a custom Seville that sounds good, runs good and looks good. I've got the sounds down. Im getting there with the performance and the body mods.
I started with a stock 96 Seville SLS.

This is Aaron the man who is going to put the sound system in and the best installer in Houston as far as I'm concerned

First its time to quiet it down, the Caddie is pretty quiet but we can make it better.
Time to break out the DynaMat.

The roof gets it.

Layering is the key for the floor.

The rear seat, floor and wheel wells. Look at all the electronics behind the rear seat.

Replacing the exhaust made a big difference, the northstar needs to breath. The sls has a lot of low end torque compared to the sts, I don't drive over 100 mpgh so I value the torque even more. That gets you the fat 0-60 times. The MSD ignition helps a lot with the lower rpm and using the stock 16 inch wheels with a low profile tire just increased the low end (this was not designed to be a 130+ mph car). I added an oversized intake that was port matched to the manifold to help it breathe, good wires and plugs and adjusting the timing for low end response on a dyno helped tune it up along with some custom throttle and electronics tweeks. I drove it in Houston traffic so getting up to 60 fast was what was important to me. Its quite, fast and sounds great and now sits in the garage 95% of the time.

Never mind my last post as far as the speed claim, I actually took the time to "READ" the modifications that you done that help produce those numbers. I'm "THOROUGHLY" impressed having read all that you have in fact modifed and improved on other the top of how the car came off Cadillacs assembly line with, this is really a pretty nice ride and if imitation is truly a form of flattery, I'd really like to follow the same script of how you've gone about putting this Baby together!

AS A FELLOW CADDY MAN, I'M "DEFINITELY" NOT HATING, BUT YOUR CLAIMING A 0-60 OF 5.39!?!?! Off what kind of modifications?
