1990 Audi 90 20 Valve

I had to let my Ur-quattro go after a few months of painful attacks on my bank balance. I had a brief stint with a 1991 90 2.3E and then found this 90 20 Valve on eBay. The car is mainly standard but has small mods where it counts. Lowered Eibach springs with adjustable Koni shocks tranform the handling while keeping the ride comfortable. A Van Aaken chip and tubular manifold improve low end torque and make this car GO.

Here's what she looked like when I picked her up. Reasonably tidy but in need of a good scrub!

I replaced the rear orange indicator lenses with red ones from the S2 Avant. It makes a big difference to the appearance.

Front indicator lamps had already been replaced with clear units before purchase.

Not bad for 15 year old red paintwork!

I replaced the steering wheel with one from a coupe quattro. Much nicer than the small Momo that a previous owner had fitted.

I fitted chrome rings to the instruments which really brightened up the dash.

5 cylinder 2.3 litre 20 Valve. 170 bhp in standard form but here we have a Van Aaken chip conversion and tubular manifold. I have no idea what the power is but it goes well ;o)
