::Info::

02/13/09 - Bye Bye Sunfire... Trading it to my dad tonight with cash for his Dodge Grand Caravan. With the kids now we need a 7 seater. The Sunfire will eventually make its way to being my Niece's first car. I did grab a few parts off it though. Took the Pioneer Head Unit, Injen Intake, Shorty Antenna, Cavalier Shift Knob out and replaced with OEM Parts. Pictures posted of it in its "Sold" state of appearance.

12/11/08 - Wow. Haven't Updated This Page in a good amount of time. Lets see whats happened in the last year and a half.... Blue is out of the interior (except for the Seat Covers for the time being). Got some parts off a friend who was parting out his Sunfire. Mainly stuff to fix broken stuff on mine, like the headlights. Only main change is the 16" rims were taken off for winter. Then I traded them for a set of 16" Beretta Z26 rims with two good tires. I just wanted to see if I could get any kind of rims/steelies with decent tires for my 16" rims with crap tires. buying only 2 new tires beats having to buy for new ones. I may just leave the Steelies on the Sunfire year round. It is my beater after all.

07/24/07 - Minor Update. Removed APlusperformance.com and J-Body.org decals from rear quarter glass and replaced with WIJ-Tuners.org decals. Also replaced Head Unit Dash Kit with a more flush mounted one. Pics on pages 2 and 3 respectively.

05/30/07 - Added a couple pics of the Fire from the Midwest J-Body Gathering. Also follow the 2007 Meets/Car Shows link on Page 8 to more pics from the Midwest J-Body Gathering weekend.

04/14/07 - The Sunfire Has Rims now. Went out to my parents to drop of my check. Well some young kids decided to burn down a factory (SEE STORY HERE ) and they shut down the main drag. So i was stuck at my parents for awhile and got bored. Dug out the Rims and put them on the Sunfire. Took the car out this morning for some pics. Posted on Page 2.

03/19/07 - THE SUNFIRE IS OUT OF STORAGE!!! Yippee!!! Pulled it out last week and worked on it over the weekend to get it prepared for being my daily driver. Put the interior back together, fixed the headlights, pulled what was left of the hoodpins off, and vacuumed it out. Also, swapped the floormats, seat covers and steering wheel cover over from the Cavalier. Hopefully I'll get time this weekend to put the rims on it and wash the exterior. Maybe even get the system in. Pics coming soon!

01/23/07 - Not much of an update persay. Just sharing that I have changed my mind on what I'm doing. I've decided once winter is over, replace the fender and headlights on the Sunfire and use it as my Daily Driver. I plan on continuing my modding efforts on the Cavalier. I just have too much stuff for the Cavalier to quit it and start from scratch on the Sunfire. Only thing that the sunfire will be getting is a small sound system (1 10" Sub and my old Kenwood amp), the blue/black steering wheel cover, floormats, and seat covers from the cavalier, and possibly an 00-02 cavalier front end conversion down the road. Probably won't see another update until spring. Later all.

12/04/06 - This is my 1996 Pontiac Sunfire SE that I just bought from a friend in my Car Club this past weekend. It has just under 150k and only cost me $800. It came with I/H/E, Crank Pulley, Engine Mounts, Clear Corners, & Pioneer DEH-P4800MP Head Unit. I also got 1.6 roller rockers, 3 speed shift kit, and a pint of black paint out of the deal. This upcoming year, it will be getting an 00-02 Cavalier Front End Conversion, Sound Deadener throughout the whole car, Custom Enclosure for trunk/back seat, & swapping over anything I can from my 1999 Cavalier. After thats done, I'll work on the rest of the plans, which include 03+ Sunfire Rear End Conversion, TypeJ/StreetFire Body Kit, Tein S-tech/Tokico D-Specs Drop, 17" ADR Rims, 2.4L/2.3L Hybrid Motor Swap, and custom work to the interior.
