06 Mitsubishi Raider DuroCross V8
This is my 06 Mitsubishi Raider. I traded in my old Frontier V6 "Desert Runner" because I needed something that could tow my Talon to the track. I didn't want a full size truck, but needed something with a V8. I found this at a local dealership, where it had been used as a dealer demo vehicle. Great price on the truck considering how optioned out it was, but I got hosed on the trade in. Figures. I miss my old truck, but this one is much nicer than the Frontier could ever be. I don't plan on doing too much to this truck besides a few simple bolt on mods, because both the Talon and the GVR-4 keep me busy enough wrenching on them.
The truck is based on the 4th Generation (05-?) Dodge Dakota, with some slight exterior and interior differences to differentiate it from its "Mopar" cousin. Most of the differences are slight such as different headlight assemblies, grille, bumper, tailgate, bedside stampings and tailight assemblies. These along with different trim and materials in the interior, give the Raider a distinctive appearance.
Exterior Pictures:
Looks A Little Better Than The Dakota Front End, Eh?
Diamond Stars Forever
I Actually Like The Look Of the Dodge Wheels More. The Fender Flares Are Part of the DuroCross Package.
I'm Not a Big Fan Of The Tailights. I'll Have To See If The Dakota Tailights Will Fit. Factory Class IV Reciever Hitch And Trailer Lighting, Already In Place.
Remember, Push UP On The Latch, Not Down. Pulling Down Causes the New Owner Undue Stress.
Interior Pics:
Part Of The DuroCross Package: Factory Side Step Bars And Metal "Raider" Sill Plates
Factory Alpine Speaker System With Amplified 10in "Soundbox". The Box Can be Set Up To Illuminate With The Music Or Continuously. Sounds Great For A Factory Setup.
Dash Shot Showing The Facory Deck. The Brushed Aluminum Trim Is Also Part Of The DuroCross Package. The Radio is a 6 Disc Indash CD Changer, With Satellite (Sirius) Radio, CD, MP3 And Of Course AM/FM.

Definitely Not A 4G63 Or 6G72. Going To Have To Get Used To That.
My First V8 Powered Vehicle. *grumble*
I Recently Added A AEM "Brute Force" Intake, And A 3 In. Gibson Sweptside Cat Back Exhaust To The Truck. Sounds Great, And Improved The Gas Mileage Slightly.
