Welcome to my car's domain, the second home of Jason Granger's 1989 Ford Mustang LX. I'll be documenting the process of customizing and maintaining the car through blog-style entries, with photos of course. I will also be adding pages showing off his friends' rides.

Well this is my 1989 Mustang LX 5.0L fox body coupe. I've had this car for about 11 years, and have decided rather than to sell it, I'd invest time and money into it. The plan is for this car to be completely re-built within the next 3 years. So far since this decision was made I've added a new alarm, brakes, clear lights with xexons, h-pipe, catalytic covertors, tires, speakers, deck, grey & black interior (the former was red), pony floor mats, purchased the Cobra grille, B&M Mustang console shifter, and have an appointment to get the car painted this coming March.

The plan for the paint job is to paint the top portion of the car black (this would be from the current red pin stripe and up), and the lower portion silver. The interior has been done to match. I've purchased and installed grey door panels, rear panels, seats and lower dash pieces, and installed a black headliner, to give the car a custom and matching look both inside and out.

After the Cobra grille and paint job are complete, I'll move on to the suspension upgrades. After that's all said and done, I'll then look at purchasing a new motor, likely a Ford crate 302, and add a cold air intake, headers, and a few other performance mods, yet nothing too major, as this is strictly built to be a weekend street car.

Well I hope you enjoy the site and follow the progress of the car. Thanks for looking and long live the Mustang. Cheers.

- Jason
