Here is how I found it:

This is what it looked like 5 days after I bought the car. As Saabs will do, it lulled me into a sense of security, then started to shed parts. I drove it over to a friends house to show it off, and go for a ride. Then the exhaust fell off while about 400 feet out of the driveway. The odd part is, it fell off in front of the house I would wind up BUYING 3 months later. I fixed the exhaust with a collar out of a t-shirt, and the rolled up plate off the front of the car.

I have had the 900 for about 7 months now, and have done the following:

-APC mod
-3" exhaust
-TurboXS RFL BOV
-K&N filter
-boring matenance
-Autometer C/F boost gauge
-Autometer A/F gauge
-24x12x3 FMIC with 2.5" tubing

UPDATE:
-post 88 axle swap-done
-9000 rotors and calipers-done
-intrax springs-done
-SPG wheels-16" aero wheels!-done
-MegaSquirt-I have a crappy laptop now, saving for wideband
-Ford injectors- replaced with saab 91 Saab 9000 injectors-done

New stuff on page 2!

Here is my BOV. As you can see, it's kinda big. The RFL Stands for "Really Fuc**ng Loud". It does not dissapoint

To go with the biggest FMIC on a 900 evar, I also tossed in a full set of 2.5" stainless tubing with silicone connectors, and t-clamps.

We'll see. I hope to finish this soon!

Oh, and I'm swapping the blue cloth interior for a grey/black leather one!

w00t!

Dude that 900 is sick. I could only wish I could have done that to mine, but unfortunately as those old cars tend to have, there was a lot of rust. It's too bad you don't live closer near Boston, there's a Swedish Car Day held at the Larz Anderson Car Museum in Brookline, MA and I bet a lot of people would love that car. Those rear louvers are also pretty rare to have.

I know we dont agree with each other. But that is funny Masterbatory Proffesional! Never heard that phrase before. Hope nothing is being taken to heart. This is my first saab I have tuned and I am sure you and the older folks have tuning down to a science. Heating up your tires is not a bad thing, drag cars do it. Nascar does it. But I am not a dragster nor is the 93 Saab car in Nascar. I drive this to work. Adding airflow seems like a smart idea.
