1969, 1200cc (Econo Beetle) German Volkswagen Beetle. Basically, the car is stock overall. She still runs with her original powerplant, the 1192cc. Her original color was L87 pearl white, but when the car was restored last 2001, the shade of color was changed to Oxford white, and up to now, she's still an ongoing project...basic upgrades are Pioneer Supertuner III with MOSFET Head Unit hidden inside the glove compartment, Pioneer speakers hidden under the rear well cover, an alarm security system, a federal horn with 6-selector, a Bosch Super tone Horn, and an Autometer 6 inch monster tachometer sitting under the dash...

here's a pic of Maggie's trunk...with all the wirings I had to deal with...I'm still searching for a good dash wiring cover.

here's the back of My glove compartment box...I really had no choice but to cut open a hole that would fit the size of my head unit...aftermarket plastic alternatives that offer stereo housings are'nt that available here in the Phils...actually, the original glove compartment box got torned out, I just sewed the perforation, measured My stereo and...walaa...a new glovebox compartment that can accomodate a stereo inside...

the silver post standing below the stereo is an aluminum rod lathed to form a cylindrical shape to act as a post and stiffen the stereo's fiiting...the glove box got deformed before because of the stereo's own weight...

and...more of My wirings...

and...my trunk space. :)

this is Maggie's front tire 155/80R15 with the lowered beam.

this is Maggie's rear tire 165/80R15 with adjusted torsion bars, lowered just enough for cruisin' around and not grinding high humps or speed bumps... :)

this is Maggie's dash...the VW1200 econo of 1969 did'nt have the dash pad that 1300's and 1500's have...
