Welcome to the CarDomain for Berzerker 1, a 2005 AM General M1114 HMMWV!!!

Thank you for visiting.  In this page I will share the details as well a small selection of my favorite photographs of this vehicle.

This is the M1114 HMMWV that I used during a 2006/2007 deployment to Ramadi, Iraq.

Of course, the vehicle is not really mine in the technical sense, but for the time I was in Ramadi, the vehicle was an important part of the team. I also thought it would be interesting to post a military HMMWV on CarDomain. It was a great vehicle.

While we had been using it we made a few improvements;

1.  An improved armor kit was installed. This was probably the most valued improvement.

2.  An automatic fire suppresion system was installed in the cabin of the vehicle.

3.  An electronic turret was installed. The new turret is controlled via a joystick in the turret as opposed to the previous hand crank.

4.  Additional electronic counter measures were installed.

5.  Smoke grenade launchers were mounted on the vehicle roof.

I cannot write enough good things about this vehicle.  It served our team well.

This vehicle worked hard for us nearly every day in exhausting conditions and never let us down.
