Ok so here is all the pictures of the neon srt-4 that I refer to affectionately as Chunk. I got this from a junkyard, I bought the front half. I was going to swap it into my 99 neon and shove a GT cruiser autostick tranny in, but with the cost and such of doing that, then finding out how built this engine was, I decided to sell it off and then just get a stratus 2.4 and stuff it in instead. So here is the engine and the car and such. Car was putting out 479hp and 473tq. Guy was running 20 something lbs of boost, stock cams and internals, port and polish stage 3 head, built block, stock bore, Wiseco pistons and eagle rods. It is SOLD!!!!

Hey all, I'm trying to sell the remainer of the engine off. What I have left is pretty much a longblock. I have the head and its parts, valve cover, block with all components and oil pan, the blcok down is still assembled, head is partially disassembled. All Parts are here, look above at the specs to see what this engine was pushing out. I have this page linked from several message boards etc. My user name on any car forum is Dodge this 1 or a variation of this. Thanks
I have here an engine from a 2005 SRT-4 that was built, many interests, all have fallen through. I am in San Diego and want to keep it local so you can come get it. I only have 2 neons so I can not haul it. My daily driver is having tranny issues so this needs to go so I can get them fixed. I have removed the head and partially disassembled it, block is intact with cooler and such. No manifolds. Head is a stage 3 P&P, very nice, stock cams and valvetrain. Block is stock bore with wiseco pistons and eagle rods. When I bought the front half of the car, gauges read 25k. I did research on it and it was built by blacktrax.net, it is still in their older customer projects, its a black 05 srt with a full engine build. Shop says that the customer had a brand new engine from the factory built, not his old one. I'd assume this engine have 8k-10k on it total. Any more questions I've got a little stuff from the research I did. Guy was running his boost - mid 20's I believe, and was putting out 479hp and 473 tq. And this was on stock comp and cams with a big turbo. A nicely tuned set of cams with big turbo could probably make a lot more. So this is the engine from valve cover to oil pan, no manifolds or turbo etc. or accessories. I'm asking $1500 I am in El Cajon right off the 8 between greenfield and los coches, so you can get an idea of where I am.
I have not turned on the car as the wiring harness was junk when I got the car, it was in a wreck, but the engine doesn't look to have suffered any damage. The crank pulley is on, but is bent so you will want to remove it. Piston 4 wall has a small scratch in it, people have told me that is normal for how much hp the car was putting out. I will send pics to those who want it.
