Not a looker, folks... not just yet.
We start by taking off much of the stock engine assembly.
In this picture I have already removed the Air intake, Intake Manifold, Throttle Body... and about to pull the plugs and wires. The dual exhaust was the only thing I didn't do myself.
It was put on by a shop.
and going in its place is a Next Generation Motorsports Stage 3 IM among other goodies.
Also yanked off the crank pulley which weighs around 14 lbs.
I replaced it with a custom machined one weighing under 1 pound
It's coming along.
now, can't have upgrades without actual tuning to help make it more nearing completion.
Produces a near 8K RPM redline over 6300rpm stock.
