Bessie II is back on the road! After a little hiatus, she has been revitalized with a newer 350 and a new heavy duty radiator. She's all set up to drag around the boat in style!
11/30/06: Wow... We adjusted the timing and freed the stuck EGR valve on the van last night.... What a difference! I can't wait to see how she runs this weekend!
11/27/06: Okay, been running for a while... still have a few things to do... gotta replace the EGR valve (it's sticking again)... and I need to repair or replace the rear end... It's making a lot of noise and I'm thinking about switching from the 3.42 gears to 3.73 or 4.10... I'd love any comments about which to do... thanks for looking!
1/31/07: Turns out that it was just some bearings, so we fixed that problem and I'm just gonna leave it alone and save my money. The 3.42 rear end will be fine for my needs, I think.
