Thanks everybody for the kind words in my guesbook and awesome votes!

Not much new to report, but I did add the capacitor for the power amp recently. It helped a little at first, but not so much after a couple weeks for some reason so I took it back out.

Around the same time, I upgraded the alternator to a 140 amp and replaced the original battery since it's almost 5 years old. I was going to use an Optima battery because everything I read says they're awesome, but upon checking the power output ratings of a regular replacement battery from Excide or Interstate I was better off sticking with a stock replacement. The only benefit I could see in using an Optima in this truck is that it's sealed, so in case it's turned upside-down it won't leak. But if the battery is upside-down, that means the truck is upside-down as well - and I have a lot more to worry about than the battery!

I have a few ideas in the works that I might be adding to the truck this summer; A set of 6000k HID headlights and a TA Performance rear end girdle to mention a couple. Keep checking in to see what's new and thanks again for the votes and comments!
