Hi, and welcome to my page. I've been a car/truck guy since before I could drive, and have owned a bunch of fun cars over the years like a '70 Chevelle SS 454, '66 Chevelle SS 396 convt, Corvettes, '67 396 El Camino, and misc Novas. This is my current toy; A 2003 Silverado SS all wheel drive, which came stock with a 345HP LQ9 6.0 liter and is Arrival blue. I ordered it with every available factory option except XM radio and Onstar.
I bought the truck new in July 03 here in So Cal, and have gradually been upgrading since it was about a year old. My goal was to make it more performance oriented (like GM SHOULD have!), while retaining it's comfort and usefullness as a pickup.
Anyways; here is a list of things I've done so far, lmk what you think and enjoy!
Engine power upgrades: Magnusson MP112 intercooled supercharger (Radix) running a 2.9" pulley producing 9lbs of boost, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering GT2-3 camshaft, Z06 Corvette 90mm LS-2 Throttle body, Dynatech Supermaxx stainless steel long tube headers and high flow catalitic converters, Magnaflow dual 2.5" inlet and dual 3" outlet exhaust w/stock SS tip tucked up closer to body, NGK TR6 spark plugs, 160 degree Hypertech powerstat, and K&N cold air intake of course. Tuning was done by Charlie Williams in Santa Clarita, CA using HP Tuners, he's the best!
Drivetrain upgrades: Transgo HD2 shift kit from JAG Performance in TX, which includes Corvette billet shift servos, a metal accumulator piston, zinc valve body seperator plate, and a bunch of other things.
Suspension work: Lowered 3" in front with Belltech spindles and slightly relaxed torsion bars, and 4" in rear with Belltech leaf packs. Belltech Street Performance shocks F&R, Hotchkis anti-sway bars F&R, front bump stops trimmed one rib, rear Belltech bumpstops trimmed and mounted directly to the frame.
Brakes: Baer Alumasport Syetem front and rear, which feature drilled/slotted 14" rotors and dual piston calipers front and rear, Earl's Performance Parts 5 piece braided stainess steel brake lines front and rear.
Wheels: HRE 645R Forged Aluminum 3-piece 22x11" in full polished finish, with Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimetrico 305/40-22 tires. They weigh only 70 lbs per wheel/tire, which is 10 lbs lighter than stock the 20's! With the all wheel drive, the 12" wide footprint at each corner helps make for easy traction at launch - yet ride suprisingly smooth.
Appearance: Goodmark steel cowl induction hood, painted by Performance Paint in Torrance, CA, stock hood insulation conveiniently left out for more airflow cooling and louder blower whine. Extang RT tonneau bed cover, blacked out 5 front grilles, Shopman's kustom billet bowtie with CNC'd blue "SS" logo (grille center), window tint, and the stock exaust tip is tucked up closer to the body for a cleaner look. I removed the trailer hitch and spare tire to clean up the rear end and save some weight, since I never use the hitch and can't use the spare with the big brakes. Oh yeah, a Chevy bedliner (first thing I did actually), and a rubberized wooden bed divider board to keep things from rolling around back there when I come home from the market in a hurry.
Electronics: Hard wired Valentine one radar detector mounted to the rear view mirror via a custom Kydex bracket, MTX Thunderform 2x10" subwoofer box powered by a QX2350 Phoenix Gold amp through the OEM Bose system. Phoenix Gold 470mfd capacitor, Auto-Meter A-pillar dual gauge pod with Auto Meter Phantom 2 Boost and Fuel Pressure guages which are LED backlit and match the stock gauges pretty well, Sylvania Silverstar headlights, and the "4 HI" mod which keeps the low beams on when hi beams are on.

This rare Arrival blue Silverado SS is for sale! Available as shown in these pictures, minus the Valenetine One Radar detector; Mileage is 51k, truck is in excellent condition, with all maintenance records and receipts for upgrades done. Mods total over $23,000, plus price of truck new which stickered for $40,000. Price is $30k obo, email to ea9396@yahoo.com if interested, located in Los Angeles, CA 90066.
