how it started

This car was going to be shiped to europe, at the time i found it. It was in bad shape so i made the guy an offer. $2500 and he took it.

The previous owner did not know what he had. I think he might have used this car as a stress management tool. all of the quarter panals were bashed in with a sledge hammer, and the trunk and hood had 27 different colors of spraypaint dots. I guess he couldn't make up his mind about the color he wanted.

So insted of buying all new panels i bought a '73 cuda and used it for parts, then sold it for some extra cash.

The original engine was a 318 but there was no way I was going to keep that so, I found a 440 that was used in an old police car. The engine was seized so i took it to a machine shop and they boored it 40 over.

The color is curiosity yellow and the converible is also a stock feature. No chop shop. I wanted to keep the car as close to matching the tag as possible.

Well about after 3 years in the shop this is the finished product. My thing is that i don't take my car to a car show that I have already placed or won.

both of the bumpers were at the chrome shop at the time of these photos
