These are the pics of the car when I bought it. The car has only about 54,000 miles on it now and I'm building a 427 to add an 8-71 blower and dual edelbrock 600 cfm carbs. The original trans works great but I will change it out when I get the rest of the linkage for my 4-spd Muncie. I'm removing the 10 bolt rear for a 9 inch ford rear(non-tubbed). I want something with around 1,000 horsepower that I can drive on the street. I'm trying to make it as streetable as possible. I'm tossing the original cruise control, tilt wheel, a/c, and steering column, as well as the factory front bench seat. These cars are really cheap to find and build and I figured that since I'm building the engine for about $4,000 including the price of the blower, that I'll spend about $6,000 in what I bought it for and what I'll have in it after all the mods and NOS. Right now the 1/4 mile time is 15.09 and I'm hoping to make it in the low 10's when I'm done.
