Anything that has to do with performance is in here unles somehow special.

My Flowmaster 50 Series Delta.
Out of the box
Making sure I didn't miss something in the box.

Installed a 2.5" tailpipe.
Stock pipe vs new pipe
Duct tape is just there to test fit it and make sure its good before welding it.
And welded.
The muffler with no piping.
Installed

Here is a video of my Sport with stock piping.

Cone air filter just arrived.
I found it at ebay and got it for 17$
Something to compare to
Some dimensions
The 3 1/2" hole
As you can see the stock intake pipe can easily fit into the new pipe.

My new intake wont have the second bend. It will be only 1 curve with much bigger radius and size of the pipe (stock is around 2 5/8 vs my new 3").

Stock vs My design

I used a rubber piece i cut from the 90 deg elbow and secured the filter to the strap there. I just drilled in the filter and used a screw to tighten it up.
As you can see the clear pipe and the pcv valve I bought are a bit small. 5/8" should work perfect though.
Here it is installed and running.

I love the whistling noise it makes when you step on the gas. As performance goes I really can't test it good since my local streets have really low speed limits so by the time I drop the clutch I'm already speeding. I think there is some difference though. My exhaust (50 delta) sound also changed a bit.
It's time to paint it now. While I'm at it I will cut "4.0 L" into the pipe and make the wrighting in red while the rest of the tube will be black.
Cutting the letters with a dremmel.
Primed
Rough sanding of the letters
And at last, Painted (letters are bright red although they look orange thanks to the flash)

Finally got a chance to work on it a bit more to lower the temps at the intake. Here is what i did and soon will be adding a box for the filter and a hose that is to the front of the jeep to get the "ram" effect with cold air.
I know it's dirty but here are some pics.

Many have been asking me recently how to make one like mine. Here are some dimensions (my "4.0L" pipe is 12" long and its a bit short so i'd recommend getting a 14" long pipe and trimming it down if you need to. At the store buy 2ft of 3" ID pvc and that should be enough for everything (for pvc you get charged per foot). You will also need a 5/8" brass barb fitting for the breather hose (the right end on my image needs to be 5/8" while the threaded part does not matter how big it is since that bolts on to the pvc pipe).

Sound clip.. listen for the Pssshhhh right in the beginning of the revs. Even better thing you can hear it more while driving :D.

Time for a throttle body clean up.. took it off and what do i find? The throttle body shrinks in the end for what reason? The hole on the intake manifold is as big as the gasket so thats a bottle neck!!!

Roughing bore
Finished bore

It whisles more now when partly open :)
