This is my 2000 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4. The top right pic shows it one month after purchase and the lower pic shows it after having a 4" suspension lift and 32" tires. other mods incude 3" dual flowamaster exhaust cat back, K&N intake, headers and cam kit, vavle spring, rollers, vavle locks, hypertech speed chip, tranmission shift kit, and soon to come is a fiberglass cowl hood , i dont go mudding or offroading like that in it i just got tired of it looking like a grocery getter vehicle so the added height makes it a little more aggressive looking so i like it alot this has been an excellent vehicle and will carry all the surfboards i will ever need.I had it dynoed about a month ago it it dynoed out at 288.36 hp to the wheels and 294 torque so im on the right track. It also has a clarion head unit , 2 12" jl audio subs ,6.5" mb qaurt splits in all 4 doors, ppi amp, jvc dvd player from stock
these are a couple surf pics of me in cocoa beach florida

Nice explorer but where did you get the lift? I've been looking around and no one seems to make one for RWD late model explorers. I have a 1999 BLK 5.0 XLT and a 2000 blk GT

ok, well, i guess i didnt read everything your mods included, but your stated hp to the wheels is still unlikely, i may be wrong but, it just doesnt seem logical, but may be possible. i would like to see something printed though, you ex is tight. hit me back. thanks, lil wayne

Nice x, we have something in common, a lifted x and surfing. im having difficulty though, 288 hp to the wheels, not very likely if the only mod was the exhaust. i have a 91X, and my mods include headers, a chip, new exhaust, a kkm true rev intake and bigger mass air flo-sensor and throttlebody and on 92 octane, i could not produce 288 to the wheels. now, i know i have the 4.0 pushrod motor, and yours is probably the s.o.h.c. motor, mine at stock only gets 190 to the motor while yours gets 210 to the motor stock, which is way more than it would be to the wheels. Even if your X is the 5.0 model or the Explorer X version, or even saleen's version of the explorer, 288, to the wheels is impossibe. The 2004 GT mustang doesnt get 288 to the wheels stock, it gets 260 something to the motor. The 2002 cobra either doesnt get that much. Either your running nos, you have a bad-ass supercharger, or some special engine, like a gt40 or something, your were dreaming. im not dissin your ex or you, i just think you hit a wrong key or something, your ex looks great. i like it. get you money back from the dyno though.
