Page (5) New Sub box & Subwoofers . . . The other box I had in there looked great, but the subs couldn't handle as much power that this amp was pushing. The new 12" Pioneers are the TS3002SP that handle 1000W RMS @ 1 Ohm stereo - 3000W Max. This box holds a bit more air space as well so the bass isn't quite so tight. I just didn't want a Ported Box because I can't stand that loose booming bass that vibrates the whole car. . .
. . It might not look as flashy as the Plexiglass Box, but it sure hits a heck of a lot harder. . . . . . . This is my MA-Audio HS-802SX 2ch Amp. It produces 4400W RMS @ .5 Ohms, although I'm running it at 1400W RMS to each sub @ 1 Ohm. . . . . This the new Pioneer DEH-P680MP CD/MP3 Player. With the 7 Band Graphic EQ, I'm able to adjust the frequencies to get a nice clean sound out of it. . . . . As you can see from this one and the next, I use to have it turned around the other way. The problem I was having though was every time I tried to light a cigarette it would blow the lighter out. Plus with the subs facing this way, there was way too much compression bouncing against the back of the seats. I thought the rear view mirror was vibrating until I looked out the window and seen that everything I looked at was blurry. LOL . . . . I'm sure it won't be long before I have another few pages full of mods, so keep checkin back! . .
