Wheelin!
Went wheelin at hollister with some heeps on cinco de mayo
Went up the jungle trail at hollister. Dont have any pics but it was sick. Then we took another trail back down and one of the side step things i had got hung up on a tree, ended up bending it down pretty bad. I took those things off so they wouldnt be a problem anymore
Went wheelin again at hollister 5/20/07. Some of the heeps from last time and a friend of mine with a 3/4 '87 suburban 350/th400/208 with a 4" lift and 36"s.
Some older wheelin' pics/etc:

My friend's '78 K5
Some of the roads that come off of it are just a little narrow and overgrown.
There's also tons of abandoned cars, trucks, and who knows what else. Probably around 40 altogether.

WHY????
Hollister Hills with the Chevy Militia
Sooo... We had a little "technical difficulty". I just got my new tires on and went wheelin right afterwards at the weatherstation. I was a little worried since the tires were just seated and hadn't had time to really seat on there for good. But I wanted to go wheelin'. I almost brought the jack but didn't bother with that either. So on the way back were going thru the gnarliest part of the road that's rediculously muddy with huge ruts. The truck gets a little sideways and then pulls to the left really bad. I go off the road a bit and first think it's just the mud. I keep going a little bit and the truck is pulling really bad to the left. I get out after the mud isn't quite as sketch and check eveything out. It didn't take long to figure out what the problem was. The front left tire was completely off the rim. And I have no jack, no spare, nothing. I call up my friend to get him to bring the jack and him and his buddy drive up in his buddy's truck. The rim and tire was completely covered in mud. There was no way it was gonna seat. But with a little help from nature, rocks and sticks to scrape the mud off, my shirt to clean it up more, and a stump to set the rim on, we were all set. We finally got the tire to hold air, still with plenty of mud on the inside though. It held air fine till the next day where I took it back down to where I got it mounted to have them take it off again and clean it out. As soon as they took it off the guy shows another guy the tire and they both laugh. Anyways heres the damage:
Going up rider rd. where buzzard lagoon connects this guy got his huge flatbed stuck, I hate that gnarly turn into buzzards.
Got bored so I took a couple pics of the truck while we were waiting for the guy to get his truck out of the way.
