This truck has been a steady and very expensive build-up for almost 5 years now. It went from completly bone stock, to a reasonable static drop, to a full air ride setup. This truck has many modifications from stock, 95% of which have been performed by myself. Here are some pictures I took just after the 2 month air ride install that I did in the garage in my sparetime.

The bed is white because I did a Fleetside bed swap, the truck was originaly equipped with the Stepside bed.

Currently the truck does not sit as low as it could go in the front, right now the Y-pipe hits the ground before the front crossmember can lay out. After some custom exhaust work I expect atleast another inch of front rim tuckage.

The rear suspension has a full 13" of travel, goes from almost stock height, to fully laid out. The KP Components 6-link is a very nice kit and user friendly to install.

This is the way the bed currently looks. I might be installing wheel tubs and a notch channel after all the body work. I bought the 8 peice notch kit from suicidedoors.com.

I opted for the smooth rollpan with no licence plate box, I prefer smooth lines. It is manufactured by FBI its all steel and only cost $70. The tailgate was taken off a long box that I found in the yard of some construction company, I had to pay $800 for it because I had to buy the entire bed to get just the gate.... But it was a good deal as the bed and gate were never used and in like new condition. I then traded the long bed for the short bed, really quite a process to go from a Step to a Fleet.

Right front corner of truck laid out. All aftermarket lenses and lighting. The grill insert is also one off, as it was a prototype from a local grill company called Cloud Rider.

This is my night time Cali shot. Anybody with air has to do the odd Cali cruise...

These were all taken the day before I took the truck to the bodyshop. You can see that it has been stripped down in preperation for the work ahead. You can also see the early stages of the shaved door handles. I put my stock wheels on so not to damage my 20's while being worked on. I think it looks kind of cool with stock wheels.

I have one of these behind each seat. They are 10" JL 10W2's being powered by a single JL amp.

This is where I mounted my air ride controls. You'll notice that when you remove your ashtray from your '95 Chevy the controler sits just perfectly in its place. The air system is controled by Air Ride Technologies RidePro e2. The air pressures are displayed on the VFD in each corner, its actually very easy to use.

The ever so popular Chev 350. In this shot you can see the intake system made by K&N called the FIPK Gen II. The engine also houses the Helix throttle body spacer, the MSD ignition system and the Hedman headers.

This is my newest toy, the 160 Amp MSD alternator! This is one cool unit. When you run a compressor, door solinoids, a loud stereo and have your headlights on, you need all the power you can get. Its actually completly billet with a solid billet pulley, oh so pretty.

This is how my truck looked last summer with the static drop. You can see how it looked with the Stepside bed. At the time of this picture it was lowered 5" up front and 7" out back. I used all DJM components with 2" spindles and 3" coils up front, and a 6" flip with 1" shackles out back. Before I did the 5/7 drop I had the 4/6 drop, and before that the truck was stock height, its funny when you realize that this game NEVER ends.

This first picture is the passanger side of the truck and you can now see the shaved door handles taking shape.

This is a closer shot of the drivers side door, just showing the unpainted finished product of all the bodywork that goes into shaving the door handles.

This is the seamless rollpan in its unpainted finished state. You'll notice the rear of the bed has a much cleaner look with no rollpan gaps.

The hood was one of the most damaged panels on the truck before the bodywork was started, and now....oh so smooth.

Painting starts this Wednesday (March 21 2007) night and I will have the truck back this weekend so I can piece it all back together. Check back soon for the finished product.....

These are the very first few photos I took today (Mar.22/07) just after I got to the body shop to pick my truck up. This weekend I will be putting the rest of the truck back together so check back in a bit for the final product.

This is the first picture I took after I installed the rims, mirrors, bumper and grille.

Waxthis's 1995 Chevrolet C/K Pick-Up

I bought a new grille shell and lower airdam, the old stuff was getting a little beatup from rubbing curbs.

The next step with this project is to install a drag bar so I can spark up the night. I also plan to intall a GM Performance 330HP crate engine. Its just a money game now. I will have more pictures up soon. Page 2 has a list of all my modifications.

Wheel Tubs and More Pictures

Waxthis's 1995 Chevrolet C/K Pick-Up

This was taken after I installed a wheel tub and bed notch kit made by suicidedoors.com. I had the boxliner sprayed at my dads shop here in Calgary.

Notice the new LED taillights made by Anzo. I bought these from stylinconcepts.com.

This last picture was actually chosen to be included in a calender contest in my local area (all of Western Canada). The calender is for a aftermarket accessory and parts distributor called Grandwest Enterprises. This shot was chosen for the month of July. Page 2 has a list of all my modifications.
