So far I have striped her down and power coated the frame and the diff along with some small parts (bumper brackets, ect..). I had the door handles shaved, added the LS1 and T56, and I have almost completed the wiring. The ECU has been reprogrammed to remove emissions and the speed limiter. I have installed a complete Global West suspension system. I have tubular upper and lower control arms and Koni adjustable coil over shocks. In the back I have new leaf springs and shocks. I have a complete set of Bear brakes waiting to go on too. I paid $12,500 for her in 2001 and have put $26,000 in mods. That money came from my year long tour in Iraq. Unfortunately I am in the Army and I was sent to Germany and had to leave my car in storage until I get back to the states in another 18 months or so. I do miss her.

Nice work so for on the 71! The LS1 looks great. I would like to put a LS1 in my 1971 Camaro. I am in the investigation stage right now but plan on starting the restoration on the 71 when I finish getting my truck in running order so I can move it out of the way. Once again, nice work!
