This is my Supra's install, the Supra has been sold though and I now have a 95 Explorer XLT. The install will be in it shortly, and I'll have pics up.
The 1990 Toyota Supra Turbo. Leather, power everything, the works. All in good shape too! ; ) Engine is factory, but is a nice 248hp Turbo. Just added Nitto NT450 tires... so traction and handling has picked up a bit.
Here is the view of the engine compartment. Since this pic was taken I have switched over from the Optima Red to the Optima Yellow Top deep cycle. All Stinger accessories were used. I have 1/0g wiring runing from the battery, through the circuit breaker back to the rear. Also, the upgraded High Output 140 amp alternator is pictured.
Here is a view of the passenger side of my front stage. The Dynaudio MD100 tweeter and MW150 5.75" mid-bass are in the kicks, and in the doors there are the MW160 7" mid-bass. The kick panels have approximately 0.3 cubic feet sealed, and the doors have about 0.42 cu.ft. These Dynaudio drivers sound superb.
A close up pic of the factory door locations reveals the Dynaudio MW160 7" drivers. Pictured here is the driver side door. The facotry 4" was taken out and 0.42 cu.ft. enclosures were built for the Dyn's. These support the kicks with incredible mid-bass response.
Here is the front part of the hatch. You can see the two Stinger 1F caps and the McIntosh MC431M and MC443M amplifiers. Also, you can see part of the two IDQ12 subs. Over the amps and caps are plexi glass, which have vinyl panels to conceal all the equipment. The subs have a fabric grill.
Here you can see the fuse/distro block rack. Stinger, again, was used here. The amp pictured is the McIntosh MC443M and you can see one of the two Image Dynamics IDQ12 SVC's that run off of it. The two IDQ12 SVC subs are running @ 2 ohm off the monoblock MC443M. This is giving each around 300-320w RMS.
Here you can see the hatch area after it was done (and as you can see the front stage was still being worked on, hehe). The two subs shown are Image Dynamics IDQ12 SVC's. They have a grill, but it was not in place in this pic. Notice the vinyl panels that go over the amps, caps, and fuse/distro rack to completely conceal them.
Here is a view that pictures the whole 3-way Dynaudio system. The 1" Tweeter and 5.75" midbass are in the kicks, while the 7" midbass are in the doors.
The McIntosh MC431M and MC443M amps and 2 Stinger 1F caps are pictured here.
A picture of the Alpine CDA-7940 installed.
