this is my 89 4runner. i bought it in Rhode Island for 500 bucks, and it was in rought shape. it had no fenders, no front bumper, and flat tires.i did all the work to it, along with my dad and brother. so far i did a full tune up, new timing belt, new wheels and tires, new breaks, new system, new fenders, new paint...kind of, and i want to tint the windows. sign my guest book and tell me what you think, give me ideas or whatever.

when i got this truck it had no fenders at all. since then i fixed that, and LineXed the bottom half. it doesnt scratch, rust, or dent and i like the look. the truck was 500 bucks, and ive spent nearly nothing on it.

Hey man, thanks for checking out my rig. The truck itself is solid as a rock, no rust anywhere. The parts truck on the last couple pages is junk compared to this thing. I had it with stock suspension and the 34's for a couple months and still wheeled the piss out of it. It help up real nice. You should look into picking up some new rear springs for that thing. Check out your local junkyard and find a set of rear springs off a late 80's/ early 90's chevy pick up. They are substantially longer, but they also give a real soft ride and a ton of flex. They also lift the rear about 3-4 inches. Let me know if you have any questions, I sould probably point you in the right direction. -Sam

Thank you. I think you should add some "uplift" to rear leaf springs - I used "air-bag". Unfortunately I already change my 4runner for 1991 Toyota Celica GT4.
