I am still around but I have been to this site for awhile. Between operating a small business and getting our local jeep club off the ground I have barely had time to work on Back in Blaq. It is so close to being finished that it is just not fair. I will soon post some new pics of the paint job ect....later
I am back, but my ride is not. still working on her. It is taking way longer than I had hoped. Lost the whole summer playing with her.
Really sucks! I am hoping soon. All of the welding is taking the longest for the bumpers and reinforcments, roof racks, fuel and tire racks. Also gutted the interior, All of the carpets are gone. it is a bit colder and a bit noisier but I wont have any problems with mud and sad and whatever else. I should not have to shampoo the stupid thing it is just not right. I bought a couple more jeeps in the mean time. 85 xj 2-dr 4 cyl. started out as a piece of s%*t but I think it will turn out OK. Severe mods to the body, for example. turning it into a pickup for our business complete with headache rack front and back, lift kit ect.
Looking for a heavier jeep, something that i can put heavy duty axles under, preferably diesel.
Oh yeah and I also bought my wife a '07 wrangler unlimited. What a fun ride!!! I never driven a vehicle that climbs or rides moguls like this thing

I guess it has been an allright summer after all except for my boat sinking '88 stingray 100hp johnson nice little boat, really fast but the stupid boat dealer fixed the top and bottom halves with silicone and it rotted out once it was in the water lucky we made it back to shore. Here's the kicker, when i took the boat back to him I asked him to give me some money back so i could get it fixed properly he said no and bought the boat back for half the price, just enough so it was pointless to take him to court. that was a couple of months ago........he just sold the thing to another unsuspecting customer for $600. I don't get it

I will have this whole setup figured out for next summer.
