Fully custom 1950 Merc dubbed Merc-N-time. Was originally built as our rendition of what the Merc would have evolved to if design and production had continued. We then decided to produce 50 of them in a Signature Series to honor Gene Winfield. Design and modification began in late March, 2006 and was completed just in time for SEMA 06. This car, the prototype was completed completely in steel and lead. There is no bondo or fiberglass. The paint job was done by Dean Arnold and Gene Winfield and consists of 60 coats of PPG Vibrant colors and 2.5 gallons of clear. Wheels are custom. The engine and all running gear are straight from the ford racing book and consist of the 4.6 ltr Ford Mustang Cobra engine and tranny, all mustang running gear and an 8.8 ford rear-end.
