This is my 1973 TR6. I caught the British sports car bug in 2000 and bought the car from a retired guy in Calgary. It didn't take me long to discover the body and frame were rust free but it was mechanically shot so I rebuilt it myself. My goal was to modernize the car and replace the problem areas with new technology. For example the ignition points are gone in favour of a Crane optical system. The original 4-speed trany was swapped out with a new Toyota Supra 5 speed conversion. I've driven the car to Vancouver and back a couple times and it is dead reliable. Through the restoration I pretty much replaced everything on the car, spent about $11,000 in parts and hundreds of hours of labour.

Looks GREAT! I bet is runs silky smooth and quiet. You should check out http://www.sideways-technologies.co.uk it's got a lot of information on tuning triumph motors for preformance. The mods look fantastic! Motor looks very clean and well detailed.
