Hear are the pics from today 11/18/06 of my hood ornament install. It took about a good hour to complete.
First I took the Buick 3 Shield ornament off. Then I drilled a 1/2 inch hole where the original one used to be.
I had to take the hood lock assembly off and some bolt on plates to get to the under neith of the ornament.
Here is the ornament before it was installed. My girl took it to her work and welded a 1/2 inch bolt on it.
And hear it is finished
And this is what it looks like at night.
