Christopher Ryan Hill
Christopher Ryan Hill, 28, died on June 18, 2005 in an automobile accident in Tehachapi, Calif.
He was born July 24, 1976 and graduated from Davis High School in 1994 and attended Cal Poly before starting a business in San Luis Obispo. Last September he married Karen Graham Hoppe of Los Osos and they moved the business to Tehachapi in January.
He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by all who know him. He is survived by his loving and devoted family; wife, Karen Hill; parents, Jim and Caren Hill of Davis; brother and sister-in-law, Brennan and Eve Hill, nephew, Carter and niece Gracie of Bakersfield; parents-in-law Mark and Penny Hoppe of Cayucos; and brothers-in-law Doug Hoppe and Peter Hoppe; grandparents Joe and Lois Sabaloni of Bakersfield, aunts and uncles, Steve and Sue Sabaloni, of Bakersfield; Patti and Hal Moore of San Jose; Janine and Ray Hasey of Yuba City; and nine cousins. He was a devoted friend to countless others, and will be greatly missed by all.
I first met Chris back in 1998 in San Luis Obisp
o California. I don't know if I would have ever finished the Tahoe the first time without his help. I have so many stories I could tell a
bout him, but it would take up too many pages. Just know Chris would have done anything, for anyone. He was a great friend, and I know his memory will never be forgotten.

Truckin Story Page 2

This project took me a year and a half to get done, none of this could have happened with out lots of friends. Thank you to everyone who helped me on this project. All friends no sponsors!! The truck now has just over 10,000 miles on it and I have covered all of California and parts on AZ. From as far north as Redding, to the south in El Centro. The truck as been driven to numerous shows and have only has been pulled over twice by the CHP's. Each instance however went without ticket thanks to my understanding of the Vehicle code. The officers in both cases were pleased at my knowledge of the codes and laughed at the fact that I carry copies of them in my truck for reference. A lot of people think that a truck this big must be slow as hell. I'm in the fast lane most of the time, doing an average of 75mph.
