This baby had - and I am not making this up - 11,200 miles on it when I purchased it in Binghamton, New York in October of 2006. It had been owned for almost it's entire life by a spinster in New York named Rosalie Fusco. I don't know where she drove it, but it was not far.
It was an eBay special. The hauling company wanted $3,000 to ship it to Edmonton (hey, it's nearly 19 feet long), so I had it checked out and it was pronounced in A-OK condition. The only problem was that it still had the original 1969 tires on it! I replaced them with new Firestone whitewalls, and drove it 3,000 miles back to Edmonton. It ran like a champ the whole way.
This car was clearly never smoked in, and as you can tell from the photos it looks like the day it rolled off the line. What a find!
Look at that upholstery. No rips, tears, seam splits or cigarette holes. It is green, but hey, you can't have it all.
You could sleep in that back seat with room to spare.
This car is 100% stock. No A/C, drum brakes all around...stone age technology at it's zenith!
