Page One - The Beginning

This is the condition of the car as it was given to me...a '93 Classic Red A-Package with the Slip-O-Matic transmission. Unfortunately, it had no battery and needed what looked like a LOT of work put into it....

The body and interior seem to be in OK shape, just a little ripple on the front right, and a lot of dirt....

12/16/2002 -After lots of work, she runs great! Replaced the Woodruff key (and repaired the keyway), alternator, timing belt, accessory belts, and the battery....need to have someone set the timing, though...can't get the cams lined up just right...put about 100 miles on her and she holds up OK..Once i have plates, I'm going to do tires and a windshield, then I'll start on cleaning up the bodywork.....

12/17/2002 - Drove her to work today (26 Miles!!!)...Found a few bugs that need ironing out, but nothing critical...more later...

12/26/2002 - Set the cams dead-on, but the timing is still too advanced...Need to get a timing light and set it right...Also replaced the radiator hoses and the fuel filter...Much better power, but still pings a little under load....

4/25/2003 - Well, I FINALLY got the timing belt just right...Runs as smooth as glass. Now to do the brakes and tires.....
