This is the Mazda MX3 I purchased at a salvage yard for about 1000 dollars, it ran, but needed heavy maintenance before I would even consider driving her. Most of the money I had went into making her road-worthy, but she has a few mods:
-custom headers
-grant steering wheel
-vavlue cover and manifold shroud paint
-black altezza taillights
-blue halogens
-new:
radiator, hoses, thermostat
distributor
wires
plugs
timing belt, power steering belt, alternator belt
head gasket
all general maintenance accounted for
I hope to get an exhaust system and cold air intake soon, but i need another job.
Note, i will be selling this beauty soon, i hate to see her go, but i just got my hands on a MX-3 GS with a stock V6, so it has a little more juice.

Here are my two restored junkers; the MX3, and my Acura Integra. Both costing me a measly $1,450.

My engine, I painted my manifold shroud Blue, and my valve cover green:

My Interior (nuthin' too special):

This was the bottom half of my engine when I replaced the head gasket (note the polished piston head):

My car in bidwell park at chico CA:
I liked what the blue neon at the gas station did to the effects of this picture:
