VISIT MY GARAGE

October 2006:

This is my 1996 Nissan Sentra (B13). Purchased for $750cnd it needed only front brake pads and a drivers side lower ball-joint to become road worthy. I am pretty familiar with car seeing as it belonged to my mother in-law. When she bought a new Corolla she was going the sell it to some guy for $750. I said 'I'll give you $750 for it', and that's how I got it. I plan to use this car primarily as a winter beater and a back-up car when I want to work on my 1994 Eagle Summit ES (which I hope to swap a 4g63t into). The only mods on the Sentra so far are a set of Michelin X-ice winter tires on 1980's Audi wheels painted a gun metal grey. Plans are to keep the car pretty stock, may be exhaust and header, k&n filter and a window tint. It won't need to perform just look a little better.

November 2006:

I ordered and bought a few parts. The engine is in need of a tune-up after only getting 318km on it's first tank of gas. Parts I have so far are new Bosch platinum +4 plugs, new fuel filter, PCV valve. Parts I ordered are a short ram intake and filter (I'll use the filter that came with it, if I don't like it I'll buy a K&N), OBX 10.3mm plug wires. Parts I still need to find are a dist. cap and rotor. And to check the timing/idle.

OBX plug wires.

Other plans include a twin tip DTM style muffler. I already have one on another that I am parting out and I think it would look good on the Sentra.

Other things I want to do are to tint the windows myself, put on some 16inch TSW stealths that I have from another car I have, possibly lower it a couple of inches and maybe tint/dye the front corner lamps amber. Here are a couple of quick photochops of what it wold look like. (Oh yeah I would also wash it, I have not done that yet.)

December 2006:

I have already changed my mind on what to change. I have now ordered the following parts.

Carbon fiber look oil cap.

A Tsuru front headlight conversion, which includes black housing headlights, corner lights and grill.

Other parts that I am looking for are the center section of lights that came stock on the SE-R.

I am also going to check my local scrap yards for a Mazda 626 front lip that can be easily modified to fit the Sentra. I am also going to remove the amber reflectors from inside the rear tail lights. I'll do this when the wheather warms up.
